Peaceful, but not perfect

Today is five of seven in Turks and Caicos.

Overall, it's been worth it. There's a few things that I wasn't expecting, such as:

  • High winds on most days (ugh)
  • Mosquitos

I can't complain though. I take that back — I WILL complain, but I won't let it get me down. I'm in friggin' Turks and Caicos, a place where most people are dying to visit.

The pictures and videos I've taken don't do this place justice. You really have to be here to experience it. It's not that far from Florida; a 1-2 hour flight and you're here. Be sure to rent a car for getting around the island.

Work's going well. I've taught myself how to get into a rhythm, even when I'm traveling the world. It's not always easy, but I've figured out how to make it work.

Tomorrow I leave to Medellín. I've been trying to teach myself Spanish before I go, but I haven't picked up much yet. The website and app Duolingo is helpful; I just haven't had the time to go through all the lessons. Learning a language is boring, honestly — but since my goal is to know enough to enjoy Colombia more, I push myself through it.

On a final note, I ran into another online marketer / entrepreneur named Timothy Sykes here. Small world (island)! I noticed him posting on Instagram that he was in Turks and Caicos. When I saw his updates I realized, he was not only here in TCI — he was my neighbor! I approached him at the Thursday night fish fry and we had a fun night. I also made new friends with some locals. Good times.

That's all I have to update you about for now. I'm still working on my program. It's ready but not ready to promote to everyone, yet. Hoping it'll be soon.
