Dishonesty Is Ugly
I don't care how good looking you are (or how good looking you think you are), if you're dishonest, then you are ugly.
One of the best habits I've developed over time, in both life and business, is distancing myself from people who're dishonest.
Throughout your life, you will meet dishonest people. It's a fact you will come across people whose actions differ from their words.
I'm not talking about simple mistakes or misunderstandings, either. I'm talking about people who are dishonest with the people they meet.
And, most importantly, people who are dishonest with themselves.
You can't trust people who lie to themselves.
Because if you are not honest with yourself, then how do you expect to be an honest person to other people?
As a copywriter, one of the most-valuable ways to communicate a message is to practice honesty.
Expose your flaws.
Embrace your weaknesses.
Don't lie to others.
Don't lie to yourself.
Dishonesty is ugly.
Don't be dishonest.
